Elliotts Turf distribute turf / grass to the housing market, councils, landscapers, garden centres, golf clubs and the general public.

The turf is sourced from North Lincolnshire and is grown on some of the finest soil in the U.K.

One roll of turf represents 1sq metre with dimensions of 2ft (600mm) width and 5ft 4ins(1600mm) long. The soil base depth is 1/2 to ¾ ins (12mm to 20mm), evenly cut by the latest modern machinery.

The seed mixture is 20% rye grass, 20% smooth stalked meadow grass, 10% strong creeping red fescue, 20% chewings fescue, 30% slender creeping red fescue.

The turf / grass is suitable for gardens on new housing estates, show house areas, amenity areas, golf tees, domestic lawns, etc.

Distribution Area

Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, Leicester, Leicestershire, Derby, Derbyshire, Loughborough, Mansfield, and East Midlands.

Growmore can be used as a pre-turfing fertiliser at 2 ounces per square metre, especially beneficial when laying turf on poorer soils.

After-cut can be used approximately three months after laying turf, but not to be used between October and February when temperatures are below 10degrees centigrade.
