Slate

 All the slates are natural products, and colours may vary.  For example, sometimes the plum and the blue slate can be quite close in colour and appearance.

Please note the slate is sold in standard size builders bags, approx 950kg.  When comparing quotations please note the approximate weights quoted. You may be surprised to see the variation in weight quoted by some companies can be as low as 750kg, ie: up to 200kg less than ours. That’s over 20 %. Slate is now also available in small bags of approximatley 25kg.

Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, Leicester, Leicestershire, Derby, Derbyshire, Loughborough, Mansfield and East Midlands.

 Slate products are provided in standard size builders bags, average 920-950kg weights and generally offloaded by forklift machinery.

 Calculations: Example: need to cover a path 20 metres X 3 metres at a 2 inch depth. 25mm to an inch X 2 = 50mm

Then divide by 1000 = 0.05 X 60 (20X3) = 3  X 1.572 = 4.716 tonnes needed
